Stop the trail at the colony — including little fire ants.

Ant Control

Sugar ants, Argentine ants, and the dreaded little fire ant invade Oahu yards and lanais. We trace the trail back to the nest and stop the colony at its source.

Why It Matters in Hawaii

Ants are relentless in Hawaii. Spraying the trail you can see only splits the colony and makes the problem worse. The little fire ant (LFA) — an invasive species with a painful sting — is an especially serious threat to families, pets, and the ʻāina.

We identify the species, follow the trails to the nest, and use targeted baiting that the workers carry back to the colony. That eliminates the whole population, not just the foragers on your counter.

What We Treat

The pests behind the problem.

Little Fire Ant (LFA)

Tiny, invasive, and painful. Drops from trees and stings. Requires specialized baiting.

Sugar / Ghost Ants

The classic kitchen ant — fast-moving trails to sweets and moisture.

Argentine Ants

Form massive super-colonies. Must be treated colony-wide, not trail-by-trail.

Our Process

How we solve it — for good.

1

Species ID

Correctly identifying the ant — especially LFA — determines the right treatment.

2

Trace the Trails

We follow foraging trails back to nests indoors and out.

3

Colony Baiting

Workers carry bait to the queen, eliminating the entire colony.

4

Perimeter Protection

Exterior treatment and recurring visits prevent re-invasion.

Ant Control FAQ

Ant Control questions, answered.

How do I know if I have little fire ants?
LFA are tiny (about 1.5mm), pale orange, slow-moving, and often fall from trees and plants, delivering a painful sting. A simple peanut-butter stick test can confirm them — we’re happy to help you identify and treat them.
Why do ants come back after I spray?
Surface sprays kill foragers but trigger the colony to “bud” into new nests, which makes things worse. Baiting works because the ants carry it back to the queen, eliminating the colony at its source.
Are little fire ants dangerous to pets?
Yes — LFA stings can cause painful welts and even corneal clouding/blindness in pets with repeated exposure. If you suspect LFA, it’s worth treating promptly.
